- Nursing Home Expenses
Many people think Medicare and private insurers cover the cost of long-term nursing home care. Also, many people don't realize nursing home fees, $300-$3,000 per day, can deplete the average couple's savings at an alarming rate. The Leader Company distributes a booklet, "How To Protect Your Financial Security", that covers this subject as good as any publication I'm aware of. Without quoting the 40 plus pages in the book I think the discussion relating to the 'Spousal Impoverishment Act' is worth the small price of the book. Its loaded with good information and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

One way to support the Richfield schools: Use your Target or Marshall Field's credit card. You are given the opportunity to designate a school to receive 5% of your purchases. Look at the phone number on your bill.
Also, there are box tops for education on all General Mills cereals, and new caps to Kemps mild that say "Give 'em five", in which each cap represents five cents for our schools.Richfield schools could set up recycle drives for your aluminum.
